Hello morning :)

A peaceful morning

This is why I love waking up extra early. 3am and 4am? :)

It gives me a certain peace and calm I need to start a productive day.

This around 530am.

It's not the moon

I don't have camera lens but I have a binocular from my father.  I was always curious if it would work so I tried it to see what it would look like... The result is exactly the opposite yet it isn't so bad. I love it actually!  It looked like moon!  I love moon!

And one of those looked like the moon I saw earlier. :)

a beautiful star

I went out to buy coffee and I looked up, 4am, there was a beautiful star I couldn't stop staring.

And maybe, just maybe, that's my father.  It's his sixth heaven anniversary.

Selena Gomez - Same Old Love

my Grown-up christmas list - sitti

Priceless win

Here's a jacket design contest I won in college before I graduated.  Just when I thought my fashion dream and daydream had left me, this happened just six or five months away from graduation.

Two of my designs garnered the highest votes but this white one had gotten more votes than the black.

You could only imagine the joy I was feeling seeing my schoolmates wearing it.  It felt even better to know that they bought it not because they knew me but because they loved it.

My prize... this jacket! I got it for free!  It was a huge deal because I had no money back then.  I mean I had no money for extra-curricular expenses.  And the best prize of all, the realization that I have truly wanted to become a fashion designer.

I knew at that moment that I would love to see more women wear my designs and the clothes I am going to produce.

The original proposal was striped bands for the waist and cuffs and the swirls was supposed to be embroidered; apparently, it didn't happen because the student council told me, that would be very expensive and students might hesitate to buy.

I am still glad with the result.  Silkscreen printing was huge at that time.  And looking at that jacket now, after six years, the print has not faded yet.

OMG.... Monday

Do not be afraid of colors

I was skimming through old pictures and graphics I made and saw this.  At some point I posted that beside my desk at the office to remind me. :D

Someone once told me, "Do not be afraid of colors." It was Sir Mark who said it during a consultation with him for the 2014 exhibit.

Originality

Get ready to be mocked, crticized, even snubbed and copied but stay true to your vision.

A message from our former HR manager

Our former HR Manager sent me a message today and I can't remove the smile on my face.

From a woman with such class and sophistication, I am in so much joy to get this compliment from her.

Thank you Ms. Divine. :)

Be original

The best is yet to come

My teacher told me...

:)

Steak Station's Sisig

I love their chicken sisig... Even though I would be super sleepy in my second shift every Friday.  If I would want an instant fix, I would buy my lunch here.  Saraaaaaaaaaap. :D

Steak Station in Shangri-La

Good finds

The best things in life are free.  The second best are expensive.  Third best sometimes cost less than Php100 and these are called GOOD FINDS!! :D

Hanging by a thread, literally

Those fabrics - tweed looking and leather looking neoprene do not marry.  I am stuck in this project because those are difficult to sew.  Hanging by a thread, literally.  >_<

Well, at least everyone who sees the fabrics and combination I made likes it.  They are really visually lovely.

Almost empty thread spool

Look at those lines! Those are threads from the almost empty thread spool... Ganda. :)
