Fashionable Bayong

Look what my mother did to those "bayong" lying around the house. Kudos to her creativity. :)

Welcome to Ayala

This is my favorite part of Makati. This reminds me why I love the city.

Hello Ayala.

The park in Ayala.
Reindeers!
I really waited for that to show! :D
I missed going here.
This just really caught my attention.
The chapel in Greenbelt.
So nice. :)

Visual Merchandising

Window shopping gives me an opportunity to see how mega brands merchandise their products. Here are few of the ones that really caught my attention.

Beautiful moon

Ang ganda ng moon kagabi. Full moon with a star on top.
Just blurry here but it was sooooo beautiful :) 112912

Room, etc.

My trinkets. Peace. Love. Butterfly. Star. A glass rose. Mama Mary.
Say a prayer.
Door candy.
Welcome. :)
This is what I see when I wake up.
See the full view of the focal point in my room. :)

A focal point is something that will attract interest and attention in a room. It is something that will draw people’s eyes and impress them with the décor of the room. It can also create a certain mood or theme that will define the emotional impact the room is intended to create (freshome.com).

1-2-3 Fixed!

My father gave this necklace to me and I noticed last night that one of its petals was gone. :S

To still wear this, I used one of my earrings and a reliable glue to fix it.

Quick fix! :)

The value of simplicity

Day after day I'm learning to value simplicity. Simplicity as a term, is broad. Everyone would have different ways to define it. There are some who see it as being "plain" or being deprived of luxuries in life.

I see it on a positive note, though.

It is less of things and people in life but these are things and people of quality, from careful selection and is possessing value.

Say, you want to buy a dress but it's expensive.

Why not save up for it instead of 10 alternative dresses? Believe me you'd only spend more if you choose the latter. Reminder: Only own things that you love and are well made.

Going back, decluttering is necessary in the concept of simplicity.

To me, it is an act being manifested when one is attaining mental clarity or when one is beginning to be more focused and simpler about his or her choices.

In decluttering, I think anyone can start in their room.

You have 10+ bags but you only use one.
You have 10+ dresses but you only wear two.
You have 10+ shoes but you only wear three.
So on and so forth.

Guilty?

Why not give away the ones you don't use? Declutter. Just do it. Trust me, you'd like the feeling afterwards.

It helps you simplify and have less of the unnessentials both literally and figuratively. What's more, it clears the mind. And, it just does. Like a deep-seated excess baggage within you, it just goes away and you're relieved afterwards.

Simplicity is a lifestyle.

Simplicity is part of My Life Design.

Simplicity is Quality.

A letter to You

Thank you God...

That I ate my favorite breakfast meal today (corned beef and turkey hotdog).
That I ate a delightful merienda.
That I finished my work on time.
That I still have money to spend while waiting for the next pay.
That I controlled myself from buying things I don't need.
That our car is fixed.
That our dinner is delicious (as always).
That I was able to talk to old friends again today.

That You have helped me feel peaceful, light, and joyful day after day.
That You have given me reasons to smile everyday.
That You have given me reasons to laugh as well.
That You have blessed me with beautiful friends.
That You have given me a job and sideline job/s.
That You have given me an enthusiasm and commitment to read a beautiful book.
That You have blessed us with a home and a mother.
That You have been keeping our mother and uncle healthy and strong.
That You have been answering my questions through passages.
That You have always been there.

The list goes on my God.

But all I want to say is, thank you and I'm thankful everyday.

Momo meals

Momo! :)

I like their food, not something that would be my favorite but I think it's worth a try.

The portion of their meals are quite huge, just perfect for sharing.
