Strawberry Toner Recipe

I have tested this myself (including my mother) and I (we) love it so I wanted to share it.  It has worked really well on my oily skin that I stopped using my regular toner for three weeks now.

I added a pinch of salt because, in my research, I learned that salt is quite good for people with oily skin.

Please consume within 30 days

Jewelry drawer with shells on top

I was cleaning and I saw this old jewelry drawer I had back in high school.  I stopped using it because the top looked so bad because of the feathers and the handle I removed then; today (after nth years), I fixed it by putting shells on it.

You'll truly find something when you clean. :)

White Ink: DIY gone wrong

What is that?

I know, I thought of the same, too.

This is DIY gone wrong.  Instead of throwing it away, I just decided to paint it all white - to remind me:

- not to mess with a vintage whatever
- not to destroy the quality of a good leather
- leather uses a different kind of paint
- less is more
- take it easy on the details, too much of everything is bad... errr ugly.
- Sew it. Don't glue it. Don't rush it. Never follow what I had done here... please.
- Do it right the first time.

Now, it's by my window.  It's there as a decor and a visual reminder.

Shine on

At the hardware store, I bought an acrylic paint - for my bags. Got it for only Php 165 only.
I learned how to make this because of Cravings. Since I was a newbie then, they signed me up and another officemate to a bagmaking class - out of my will; yet, i guess, it worked for me. I learned a skill, for free. :)
I made a small version that I haven't used yet. Now, I can use it na!

Hopefully, anytime soon I could engage in making one of these again.

DIY Clutch

I missed doing this.

Super super glue that I used for this project

The old leather clutch from my father.  I just cleaned it and quite fixed it.

It took me a week to finish this. Trial and error included in the counting.

I ran out of materials.

And I found those sewing materials at home. PROBLEM SOLVED.

Here you go. It is DONE!

The back part. :)

Tea Room

Here's how we used the storage cabinet I painted last week...

My mother and I set up a mini Tea Room near the kitchen, just for fun. :)

Paint Project

Instead of throwing this old storage cabinet, I painted it white.  It was my first time to paint, too.  It was a wish come true. :)

1-2-3 Fixed!

My father gave this necklace to me and I noticed last night that one of its petals was gone. :S

To still wear this, I used one of my earrings and a reliable glue to fix it.

Quick fix! :)

DIY: Newspaper Bag

It's been a long time since I made a bag out of newspaper. Cravings (yeah, The Cravings Group) enrolled me to this class and I think that has been something that I'd always remember them by.

Extra! Extra!
