Looking back - VNC contest

This is very special to me.  

There is no more VNC in the Philippines but I always remember the moment I won its design contest. It still is my favorite artwork in my archive.  The artwork and copies are personal.

The shoes I got from them were gone but the memory is still with me.  

It's lovely to look back sometimes to remind ourselves how God has blessed and changed us so much.

Good Finds: Flats

I haven't used my Jan. 2012 GC just yet. So, I was thinking of giving it to my sister instead. I bought two flats from the year end sale, though --- 70% OFF. VNC is on sale until the end of January; and when they're on sale, they're REALLY on sale. I have no right to splurge these days but these are for keeps. Kelangan ko rin eh and GOOD FINDS talaga. One for me. One for my mother. :)

Featured again!

While I was doing work related stuff, my friend in the office asked me, "Alam mo yung nagblog about sa VNC? Sa notebook?" And she showed it to me. Wooooooooaaaaaahhhhh! For real???? Totoo nga!!!! Weeeee! Someone blogged about VNC including the notebook. This made my day... It still feels great each time.

VNC: Priceless Moment

Surprise Surprise. My mother and I went to VNC Eastwood branch (11/9/11) to get shoes and on our way to the store, we saw an easel outside with a promotional ad that seemed so familiar.

I saw my I love life design!

I was speechless for a brief second that my heart literally skipped a beat and my instinct just dictated me to get my phone and take pictures.

The notebook is now available at the store.

Little did I know that it would be used for the benefit of Women's Crisis Center. For every notebook purchased from the participating branches, proceeds would go to the said beneficiary.

Realizing how good this cause was, it has made me feel even more ecstatic and grateful. My mother was soooooooooooooo happy, too.

 

VNC: November (2011)

I gave my mother my November 2011 GC. What she has chosen amongst the many beautiful pairs last night was the beige canvas peep-toe wedge with stitched brown faux leather and bronze buckle detail from VNC's November 2011 Collection.

She loves her new VNC. I know she does. All she could ever say was, "Ang ganda. Napakakomportable."
