Close your eyes

I read in an article that it's at the time you close your eyes you'd know whether you're happy or sad. Yes, at bedtime.

A good night's sleep. A peaceful sleep. The one that you know you've wrapped up the day with a joyful and content heart. Perhaps, with a smile on your face?

How often does that happen to you? Has that ever happened to you? Who doesn't want that, right?

It was just a thought I was obsessing on since yesterday. Now, I'm hoping you (yes you) find a reason every night to sleep with a joyful, content and grateful heart. And, if you already have, be happy and know that you are blessed.  It must be a great feeling to have. :)

Goodnight.

This goes beside my bed

He's my source of strength.

My childhood dolls

Two of my Barbie dolls (given by my father). :)
I turned my bandana into a Barbie dress and used the dreamcatcher as an accent. :)
Casey Cartwheel. She literally does cartwheel. ;)

Tea Room

Here's how we used the storage cabinet I painted last week...

My mother and I set up a mini Tea Room near the kitchen, just for fun. :)

Kiss the earth with your feet

When we walk like we are rushing, we print anxiety and sorrow on the earth. We have to walk in a way that we only print peace and serenity on the earth… Be aware of the contact between your feet and the earth. Walk as if you are kissing the earth with your feet.

Alicia Keys - Brand New Me

It's been a while, I'm not who I was before
You look surprised, your words don't burn me anymore
Been meaning to tell you, but I guess it's clear to see
Don't be mad, it's just the brand new kind of me
Can't be bad, I found a brand new kind of free

Careful with your ego, he's the one that we should blame
Had to grab my heart back
God know something had to change
I thought that you'd be happy
I found the one thing I need, why you mad
It's just the brand new kind of me

It took a long long time to get here
It took a brave, brave girl to try
It took one too many excuses, one too many lies
Don't be surprised, don't be surprised

If I talk a little louder
If I speak up when you're wrong
If I walk a little taller
I'd be known to you too long
If you noticed that I'm different
Don't take it personally
Don't be mad, it's just the brand new kind of me
And it ain't bad, I found a brand new kind of free

Oh, it took a long long road to get here
It took a brave brave girl to try
I've taken one too many excuses, one too many lies
Don't be surprised, oh see you look surprised

Hey, if you were a friend, you want to get know me again
If you were worth a while
You'd be happy to see me smile
I'm not expecting sorry
I'm too busy finding myself
I got this
I found me, I found me, yeah
I don't need your opinion
I'm not waiting for your ok
I'll never be perfect, but at least now i'm brave
Now, my heart is open
And I can finally breathe
Don't be mad, it's just the brand new kind of free
That ain't bad, I found a brand new kind of me
Don't be mad, it's a brand new time for me, yeah

Random Things 5

My brunch for today. *yum*
May ID na ko *so happy*
Sneak peek of my journal.
Another one. This is just worth sharing. :)

Project 1

I'm done with Project 1.

For the record, this is the first dress I had sewn. *so giddy*

This is a "katsa" dress.  I can't believe it, I was able to make a dress.  I don't know how they do it, but they make the "sewing" lessons easy for the ones sans experience.

On to Project 2's drafting next week, this time with real fabric. *excited*

Just to share, here are the dresses on display from Advanced Class today.  This a pretty nice motivator for us to also continue until the Advanced Class.
