Makati, 11/13

What's supposed to be a museum trip turned spontaneous shopping in my favorite Greenbelt wing, Filipino zone. Maraming nadagdag, Kaayo, Filip+Inna, Yoya, and more. Christmas shopping came early and I am proud that I didn't take Grab so I really saved some. ;)

Escolta Take Two!, 11/11

Dahil nasarhan ako last week, I needed to see the place longer. I read there will be a handmade goods fair, too.

Puro stickers, I never thought that a lot of people are obsessed with stickers these days, I was happy that I was able to find non-sticker good finds -- ceramics earrings, resin clips and this cool custom jeepney signage maker.

Color it PINK!

This is the softest pink I could find.

I wanted to add it on the dress I am making but the color didn't match at all.  SO, I am making a necklace out of these. :)

Closer look on the detail

Handwoven bias cut orange and pink fabrics with a handmade peter pan collar adorned by fabrics' selvage and braided crochet threads. Around the yoke is fabrics' selvage, a tribal trim with corals, turquoise stones, wooden beads, shells and tassels.

selvage (US English) or selvedge (British English) is a self-finished edge of fabric. The selvages keep the fabric from unraveling or fraying. The selvages are a result of how the fabric is created.
