My friend told me last week that she got me a book as a belated birthday gift.  I actually forgot she said it.  Today, she brought it and it was heavy! The cover struck me the most, it was pink and fun; and when I opened it, I loved it even more.  

Aside from fashion, I am very interested in the art of advertisements and that is also why I took Communication Arts.  And this book got both.  It is a compilation of apparel  advertisements from the 1900 until the 1999.  

The book takes me back to the past... in a fun, stylish way!

Monday night, I wanted to resign and I remembered that in every decision, I must learn to consult that decision to God, first.  And so I asked God and even typed it in my notepad, God what will I do?

Few minutes later, my friend in the office gave me a gift and I opened it, it was a book.  I was intrigued because I found the cover appealing and I saw Nikki Gil's name on the cover.

Tea wishlist

Great to see you Liz!

Dubai has a special place in my heart, it's where I have found the friends I will have for life.  It's not an exaggeration, it's the truth.  Distance has never been an issue among us.

Three of my friends are in Dubai and one is in Singapore and I am here in the Philippines.

I missed them so much that I had been emotional at some point because I felt they were so away. Until, one day she broke the news that finally after two and a half years, she'd be here for a vacation. And, she'd introduce me to Dencio, the love of her life. :D

God, that has made me soooooo happy and excited to meet them.

I have also learned that in May, Abbie will be home.  In June, Judy will be home.  In August, Anjo will be home.

I will be seeing all of them this year.  It's the first time all of them will be home within the same year.

Thank you God.

I got my wishlist. It was a nice choice, super!  Because it was a 250-peso exchange gift, I was somehow expecting a variety of 80-peso ones and... I got this. I am touched that it's pink and it's a really nice notebook.  Thank you Sir Bong! Only if I knew it was you, I'd ask for something else... hmmmmmm cash?!? *jk* :P
