Don't quit (yet). Create a "blueprint"

This is the most enlightening article I have read today.  It has made me realized I am on the right track.

And, the decision to not jump into the bandwagon is indeed a smart move.  It doesn't mean, when everyone is doing it, I have to do it, too.

I have to trust God.  I have to trust my instinct and set my own pace.
Do you want to quit your job and start your own business?
DON’T – because it should work the other way around. You should first try to start your own business, then later on – quit your job.
Then, make a plan for your own business, while still working in your job.
Once the “blueprint” is ready, then start your business. You don’t have to quit your job. It is possible. Many successful companies today started “in the garage”, during the free time of the people who built it.
When should you quit? You will know. There will be signs – both emotional and financial – that will tell you that you are ready to quit the corporate world and become full-time with your business. - Fitz Villafuerte, Reader Mail #17: I Want To Quit My Job And Start A Business
From what I have learned from college, it is not enough that you have ideas, you have to put it on paper. Everything starts with a business plan.  We had been bombarded with such in college so I thought, why don't I make one and make use of what I learned? I always wanted to make one because I know it will inspire me to implement it.

One day (at the beginning of January), I have finally decided to compile all the ideas I wrote back then and start the business plan I was prolonging.

Now that I am working on it, I realized the importance of it. To have a clearer and more specific view of what I really wanted to build.  Random note taking is important but at the end of the day you have to organize it as it serves as your "guide" or in the article, Fitz Villafuerte called it a "blueprint."
