ISSUU!
Out of the blue I came across this interesting site called ISSUU through a post of a friend. It's actually a website wherein you can upload your pdf files such as books, kits, magazines, newspapers, portfolio, etc and have these available online for viewing pleasure of everyone and that's great news, isn't it? I was just hoping to encounter a website that offers a feature as such and may ISSUU pala!

NOTE TO SELF: Enhancing the good is the way to go. |
I live in my room (kulang na lang ref). |
Mini Mariang Katipunera. I miss Miriam :) |
See you around JM and Faye
Goodbyes are sad and no matter what you do, no matter how frequent it happens; ironically, you'll never get used to it. Just be grateful for the beautiful people you've made good friends with. I'll miss you Faye and for the second time, I'll miss you JM.

VNC: March (2012)
Today, I picked up my new VNC pair. I love the fact that it's red and that it is wedge. Kind of my two favorite things in the world at the moment. Thank you VNC! :)
RED HOT! I'm drawn to bright colors lately. |
Hello new pair. I'd been wanting a wedge as such to replace my old favorite. |
My old favorite. This pair had served me well. I really loved it. |

It's Okay
I'm Con and It's okay to be me. 2/12/12 |
I kept myself from the world.
I concealed from everyone who I really was.
I laughed, I smiled, I talked, I mingled.
Some even described me happy-go-lucky.
But, they never really knew me.
I started hiding.
Thinking maybe, this was how it supposed to be.
I was living a life not even known to me.
Thinking maybe, this was the life meant for me.
Then you came,
You seen me
And looked right through me.
How could you know who I was all along?
How could you see the real person I was hiding?
How could you read my heart and soul without trying?
It's okay to be me, you said.
It's
okay
to
be
me.
And, that's something.
Now, I still hear your voice whispers,
- It's okay to be... me.

The Oscar
Now, I'm watching the Oscars and I'm in front of my Blogger and so, that inspires me to post a blog about passion, excellence, and artists.
It's endearing to see the winners go up the stage to receive their awards and I can really see how the winners' faces lit up each time.
Some were teary and even shaking. Priceless. The way they hold their Oscar's, it is amazing. They accepted it and held it like it was the whole world that was in their hands. And that what they have all lived for finally paid off. Most speeches gave me chills especially Meryl Streep's.
That, I believe, is one thing about passion and honing your crafts to be an excellent artist. To have passion for something is like an oxygen. It keeps you going to inspire people (NOTE: not to impress). To strive for excellence (NOTE: not perfection) is like a fuel. It keeps you driven to deliver a vision.
This is why I supposed the winners seem to exude that aura of pride (good pride). They were successful in captivating the hearts of a lot of audience; and more so, in sending their message or vision across through their chosen medium (in this case, film).
One thing I noticed, the ones who always win are the ones who have invested their hearts in it. Being an artist is often described weird but surprisingly, enthralling. They speak their minds but in a different way, it's through their talents wrapped up in passion and excellence. That's great.

Note to self - Spare time
Guard well your spare moments. They are like uncut diamonds. Discard
them and their value will never be known. Improve them and they will
become the brightest gems in a useful life. - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Note to self - You're worth it
Be thankful to those who made you feel worthless. You know why? Through them they (actually) helped you realize your worth - without their approval.
