One. In choosing that "one," always choose the best you can have. Quality life means quality choices.

Just ONE
Inspired by the concept of Quality Lifestyle, one of everything: one watch, one phone, one home, one car, one boyfriend or girlfriend, one husband or wife.:D

Suckers For Design: An Edible Installation
It's the WRITE thing
Do you write?
Personally, I think it's something everyone should try and learn. Sometimes, you just have to clear your mind and let go of those bottled up feelings; and one of the easiest ways to do it is through writing.
Not that you're going to write a novel, a poem or any literary works.
I'm talking about... journals. Or simply, keeping a diary.
I'm not a Psychology major but I find writing thoughts therapeutic. It is by itself an art on its own.
No wonder it's very popular on Pinterest and Tumblr. Would you agree?
There's beauty in unedited thoughts. I love the imperfection of it (technically speaking). Its rawness is truthful and unique; at the same time, universal.
So go ahead, do the WRITE thing. It's easy.

My desk II
I'm so inspired by what I'm seeing on Tumblr that I also rearrange my decors every now and then. I'm
also beginning to have some of my works printed and framed.
The more personal the decors are, the better. :)

Pink Painting
I once posted whether to watch Phantom of the Opera or hope to purchase a painting by CJ de Silva.
I think I have made up my mind...
Unfortunately, it's been flooded last week according to her.
On the other hand, she's going to paint a new one for me.
It's going to be different from this but similar concept. I love the idea that she's going to inject some elements I asked her to consider in the new painting. That... that made me so excited.
I know it's going to be beautiful.

Articles to read: Olay and Forbes
As what I'd always say, "too good not to share."
Olay: Are you sensitive? It's my first time to try Classic Olay Moisturizing Lotion. I was forced to buy one because of excessive dryness and tingling I felt on my skin in the past week. It has worked really well.
It's no magic but it reacts well on my skin. Gentle enough to moisturize the dryness and lessen the itchiness and flakiness. Plus, it's only Php 200.
10 Smart Things I've Learned from People Who Never Went to College I love this. Everything here speaks of truth. I could relate as we were raised by parents who never went to college.
Enjoy reading.

Side Thoughts: Allergy and Rain
It's raining again. It just won't stop, will it? :(
It's been days and my face is uncomfortably dry, itchy and flaky. I want to scratch my whole face but I'm trying not to. Parang may liha. 0_o Without powder, it's reddish :S I hope it gets better this weekend.
On the otherhand, we have a router again so I'm glad about it. It's been replaced twice already in less than 6-7 months, can you imagine that? We're lucky it's still under warranty.
More importantly, everyone hopes the weather gets better for real. Sun!
I'm sleepy but I'm not sleeping. :P (c/o Tumblr) |

Be selfish and generous at the same time?
Throughout the years, I've learned to be so selfish about insults that I don't want to share them. Yet, to be so generous about genuine praises that I just have to share them out loud - by letting the person know.
Words can be anything we want and it's up to us, really.
As what my professor would tell us in college, words are irreversible. So, we must be really careful of what we speak or of what words we throw, because there's no way we can take them back.

Au Naturale
Would you dare to go bare?
In college, a friend would tell me that she appreciates girls who don't go for rebond or relax or any sort of straightening treatment. She explains that there's something about embracing your own natural hair texture and volume that she finds sexy. In my interpretation, she meant, alluring. This is why, I've learned to appreciate my hair and it's not that bad after all. I just have to comb it.
Also, being from a school and work where girls wear a lot of make-up, I find myself wearing make-up, too and couldn't leave the house without it. Because they wear make-up so well, I thought of joining the bandwagon. Sporting thin eyebrows, eyeliners, heavy foundation, pressed powder, concealer, blusher, lipstick, lipgloss, mascara... a lot.
But, I hate wearing mascara. I also hate the feel of heavy foundation on my skin. I am not a fan of blusher as well. It's funny that I load my face up with too much make-up when I hate the feeling of it on my face. Fad that had become a routine. I know.
I find it refreshing when I see girls around with no make-up. It's very endearing to look at. It's as if you see "her" first and not her make-up. There is a youthful radiance and rawness that are naturally exuding from wearing little to no make-up at all. Like, there's nothing to hide.
Now, I'm trying to look as natural as possible. Natural hair, natural eyebrows, just a little powder to control the oil, concealer if I need to cover a zit or something and just a dab of lipstick. I like lipsticks!
I don't hate make-up now, just bad make-up. Again, some women wear it so well and look great with it. I like that.
Yet, I think it's really worth a try to opt for a more natural look of you.
Going natural takes courage. It's a treat for your skin as well. You let it breathe. At the same time, you're feeling some sort of freedom. Maybe from not worrying how you look after few hours. Plus, for some reason, it makes you look younger.
Now I can say that it is brave to embrace what you're given. So, just go and bare it all - be it your hair or face. :)

I did not like this song at all until I heard them sing it. I love their rendition. :)

Daily Capsule™: When He gives it... 080412
When you can get what you want, that's God's direction. When you can't get what you want, that's God's protection.
Have a great day.
Re-post: Never chase it
Never chase love, affection, or attention. If it isn't given freely by another person, it isn't worth having.
I think it makes sense now, you would never have to ask or beg someone for it (love especially) - it's given. If it's not given willingly, it's best to move forward.
