Wins at Work in a Month and a Half

A month and a half later after accepting a job role that I had no idea whether I could pull off or not, banking on my intuition and faith that this is a fresh start and a good change, for me. Now it's like I've been doing this for two to three years already.

It's not easy and it's challenging because I'm not known and used to being a people person but OMG I didn't know that it's a rewarding job. Indeed, it's mostly problem-solving. In a month and a half, I am fully functioning with minimal guidance needed. To humblebrag LOL, I already processed two approved progressions, SM6 and rewards requests, trainings, 3 FTE requests... and more approvals for my other process improvement plans that are completed and will start rolling by June 3.

My Senior Marketing Director is so supportive and I am happy that she told me that I exceeded her expectations. It's because these good things are happening in a month and a half. I exceeded my expectations, too.

My Operations Manager told me that I could be forgetting to celebrate my recent promotion. She's right. I still can't absorb it. Honestly, it feels the same but with more responsibilities. No complaints, I love it because I like bossing people around. LOL. Truth be told, I like doing things my way because I don't make plans just for me, it's always for the benefit of the majority and I get to do that here.

Today I made a list of my wins and I found myself listing down every single thing. Andami na nga pala. Most of it is not about me but the improvements I initiated and made happen plus the progressions of team members. That made me happiest the most. Nakakakilig pala pag naaapprove ang promotion na nilalakad. One of them just got approved today so I feel like celebrating too because it's made his day. ❤️

This could be the only post I'd make about work. Something to remember in a year or two.

Maria's Little Closet's Feedback

I love feedback, good and bad. ♡ I use them to do and become better.

Barely a month ago, I tried to sell online. I have no products that I made yet so I started with my little closet. My thinking was, if I can't sell these now, how will I know how? So my goal was to test, to learn, and hopefully to earn extra. And you know what... I tested, I learned, and I earned extra. In fact, I made more than what I was expecting. The bonus part was, I received pictures of satisfied customers' OOTDs and lovely feedback. 😍

Seeing women wear what I made or chose or sold them gives me a spark, a different kind of joy that I never want to go away. It fuels me. I love witnessing women feel cute, pretty, and beautiful because of clothes and garments. Clothes are tools and if used right, it has the power to inspire confidence, good mood, and beauty.

I never tried anything like this in years so I feel like this is worth sharing.

Whole Day(s) Thing

It's been over a year since I visited my OB for a follow-up check up (pati last ultrasound result ko nawala na, oh no. So uulit.). After putting this on hold for too long. I finally took the time off to get checked and tested again to make sure everything is still fine 2 years after my operation. I hope everything is fine.

Since I was already in MVMC, I took the opportunity to visit an ENT to get my recurring ear infection checked, an ophthalmologist to recheck my eye problem, and a dermatologist to check my skin. Then, tests followed and the upcoming procedures for my right eye and ear have been scheduled.

To live longer, healthier, and better means I need to take care of myself. So I hope to keep this routine in the coming months because health is wealth.

On the bright side, doing this means I can maximize my HMO card and PhilHealth. ♡

My favorite views from MVMC:

Nice view just across it. Ang cute nung puno.

MVMC's cafeteria. Sarap talaga ng food dito and there's nothing fancy about this cafeteria but it's so cozy.
